Muay Thai sensation Johan Ghazali is eager to break his next opponent's best line of defense with his striking power at ONE 168: Denver.

Ghazali faced a couple of tough lessons from his last Muay Thai fight. The lack of experience was probably the key factor that separated him from his former foe, Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat.

But other than that, Ghazali knows where his capabilities lie within this line of work. So after spending the last few weeks studying his next opponent, Josue Cruz, 'Jojo' feels confident that he'll deliver a performance that resembles a lot like his previous five victories. Speaking to ONE, he said:

"Not trying to sound too confident or anything like that. But I believe my striking is way better than what Cruz brings to the table. I don't think he'll be able to handle my strikes when we fight."

'Jojo' Ghazali is one of the most dangerous Muay Thai fighters in the flyweight division due to his incredible stopping power. Every fighter he's encountered in the Circle, except for Nguyen, has had a lot of trouble dealing with Ghazali's offensive pace.

Suffice it to say, that every strike he throws, can shut down the lights of his rivals. Pretty remarkable for a young 17-year-old who's just starting his career in ONE Championship.

"He has a strong mind" - Former rival Nguyen Duy Nhat attests to Johan Ghazali's overwhelming strength and power

Former rival Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat believes that Johan Ghazali has the potential to be a big star in ONE Championship.

The two Muay Thai strikers collided on June 7 at ONE 167 in a three-round flyweight bout in Bangkok, so the Vietnamese star has first-hand experience of what it's like to be on the receiving end of a punch.

Despite being able to avert some of 'Jojo's' best strikes, 'No.1' can see why he's considered a phenom in ONE Championship.

Singing 'Jojo's' praises after earning the decision that night, Nguyen said he expects Ghazali to have a long and prosperous career in ONE.

"Johan is young and strong. He has a strong mind as well, and he will certainly be a future World Champion of ONE Championship."
