Fabricio Andrade believes that his long awaited return to competition will kick off a new phase of his career. 'Wonder Boy' has been out of action for some time having not fought throughout 2024, but his period of being on the sidelines comes to an end at ONE 170.
Before Andrade battled with injuries outside the circle, he was in incredible form at the very top of the sport.
His winning streak in the bantamweight MMA division is one of the most impressive runs we have seen in ONE Championship. Furthermore, in his last outing, he attempted to become a two-sport world champion by facing Jonathan Haggerty for the vacant bantamweight kickboxing title.
'Wonder Boy' is back in action on Jan. 24 where he takes on a former opponent of his in a rematch inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Having beaten Kwon Won Il in the past, he's confident of doing it again, which will kickstart his momentum once again.
He told Sportskeeda MMA in a recent exclusive interview:
"Beating Kwon Won Il will be the start of my title run. I think, like we have chat before in the past, this will be the first of many. A new and improved version of Fabricio Andrade. And I'll take it from here to try and continue being a world champion here."
Fabricio Andrade still has so much to give
Fabricio Andrade was firing on all cylinders the last time that ONE fans saw him compete in MMA.
During the time that he has been away, the world champion is confident that he has only gotten better and he plans on showing that at the Impact Arena.
The Brazilian has already been incredibly dominant in this division but he only wants to continue adding to that legacy by continuing to stay at the top of the weight class by beating all challengers that attempt to overthrow him.
