Jackie Buntan isn't satisfied with finally reaching the top of the mountain at this stage in her career.
The 27-year-old is hoping to continue her current momentum and lead into bigger and better things with each outing.
Buntan has already achieved some great things under the ONE Championship banner with some incredibly impressive performances.
That being said, this past weekend at ONE 169 saw her produce her biggest win to date as she became a world champion for the first time in her run with the promotion.

The American-Filipino contender defeated Anissa Meksen in a very close fight on Nov. 8 to become the ONE inaugural women's strawweight kickboxing world champion.
Jackie Buntan has no problem admitting that this is the highest high of her career to date but that doesn't mean that it has to stop here.
During the post-event press conference, the new champion reflected on her achievement and how she intends to build on it:
"Yeah, I think so, you know, first world championship fight [in kickboxing], and I became a champion. So, yeah, it's definitely the biggest moment of my career, but it's the first of many."

Jackie Buntan rose to the elite level
Jackie Buntan has already proven herself to be an elite striker in her Muay Thai bouts under the ONE Championship banner.
However, her world title fight at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 8 was a challenge that would really test what she is capable of.
Buntan came into the fight confident that she would be able to adapt in order to compete with an elite kickboxer in her first fight in the ruleset.
This was certainly the case as the two women went five rounds with very little to separate them once the final bell sounded and the new champion was crowned.
