Kana Morimoto is quite aware of the spoils that await her if she emerges victorious in her highly anticipated ONE debut.
Right off the bat, the Japanese superstar has been thrown into the deep end as she battles multi-time ONE world title challenger Anissa Meksen at the loaded ONE Friday Fights 92: Sitthichai vs. Shadow spectacle.
The 32-year-old veteran certainly understands that she'll have her work cut out for her this Friday, Dec. 20, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Still, a win over the decorated French-Algerian striker will no doubt put her on the radar for a title shot against reigning atomweight kickboxing queen Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.

'Krusher Queen' shared during the ONE Friday Fights 92 Virtual Press Conference:
"If I show the crowd that it’s a clear win this Friday against Anissa Meksen, and it also depends on Chatri, but if it’s a clear win, then the next fight could be a title shot and I will be preparing for it."
Kana has already made it clear that she has every intention to take over the women's striking ranks in the home of martial arts.
The Team Aftermath affiliate will definitely start on the right foot if she can add a fighter as credentialed as Meksen to her long list of victims.
Kana says she has nothing but respect for Anissa Meksen
While Kana's goal is to get her hand raised at Anissa Meksen's expense, she has no bad blood whatsoever for the multi-time world champion:
"A fighter that I respect a lot, Anissa Meksen, is also fighting in ONE Championship," Kana said at the OFF92 virtual presser.
"As a martial artist and as a fighter, it’s my dream to go for a title match and get the belt."
At the end of the day, game recognizes game. Both Kana and Meksen have already left a huge imprint in the women's striking scene, and it's about time their paths finally collide on the global stage of ONE Championship.
ONE Friday Fights 92: Sitthichai vs. Shadow will air live in Asian primetime on Dec. 20 in more than 190 countries around the globe.
