MMA fans are split in half after an X account announced that Tyson Fury will switch his career from boxing to MMA.
Fury recently faced Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In a 12-round, hard-fought battle, the British boxer was unable to avenge his loss, as Usyk secured a unanimous decision win.
The parody account @Bestboxingnews took a light jab at Fury and announced fake news of ‘The Gypsy King’ desiring a rematch with Francis Ngannou and a clash with Jon Jones in the cage. The user wrote:
“Tyson Fury has announced that he will switch to UFC and will not box in the near future as he wants to rematch Francis Ngannou in the cage and also wants to fight Jon Jones as well.”

This post sparked reactions from several MMA enthusiasts, who rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One fan mocked Fury, emphasizing that he may be "concussed" from his recent loss to Usyk, writing:
“Usyk must have hit him really hard in the head, he must be concussed. There's no way he is beating Ngannou or Jon Jones in the cage.”
Another fan believed the news was true and praised Fury for entering MMA, commenting:
“Wow, if true, gotta respect Fury for having the b*lls to even try entering the Octagon.”
One user wrote:
“He does realize Francis isn’t in the UFC, right?.”
Another fan added:
“Yup. Book the casket already. Ngannou would do unspeakable things within 30 secs.”
