Reece McLaren and Jarred Brooks summoned their inner Van Gogh during their flyweight MMA battle last week at ONE Fight Night 26 after they turned each other's faces into a canvass of blood in front of the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
This beautiful violence display between the two was on full display in one of the recent Instagram posts of ONE Championship, and they captioned it with:
"Locked in tight 😮💨 @reecelightning91"

In the video, 'Lightning' was seen cranking up a tight D'Arce choke submission against 'The Monkey God' which shed more blood into the fight. Despite securing the submission attempt, McLaren came short of forcing a tap out of Brooks.
Eventually, though, the Aussie MMA star eked out a close split decision victory to maintain his place in the division's top five rankings. Because of this ultra-competitive match, fans lauded both athletes for their performance, as users @lesidv, @alestyr.alva13, @timmy73006, @krad_bjj, @no_soy_cathaysa, @immukund_0410, and @danieltheprophetmma commented:
"Wahh nice blood fight 🔥"
"Almost had him in that hold, too..."
"Gosh damn warriors"
"When the blood saves you from a darce 😂"
"My God, what are they capable of doing?"
"What a bloodshed fight .. #MMA 🔥🔥"
"Give that man the title fight"
Reece McLaren demands a fight with former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes
After securing his 11th victory under the world's largest martial arts organization, the CMBT Training Centre representative has now shifted his focus against the former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes.
In one of his interviews backstage at ONE Fight Night 26, McLaren called out 'Mikinho,' saying that the Brazilian submission specialist didn't want to call him out, which is why he did the honors by saying:
"Oh yeah, I want Adriano. He said he was gonna say my name and he didn't. So I'm gonna say yours m***********! I want you Adriano."
The replay of the ONE Fight Night 26 card can be rewatched by North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription.
