Nico Carrillo has reflected on the impressive ONE Championship resume he's established through four promotional fights.
On July 5, Carrillo returned to action for a pivotal ONE bantamweight Muay Thai matchup. Heading into ONE Fight Night 23, 'King of the North' held a promotional record of 3-0 due to knockout wins against Furkan Karabag, Muangthai PK Saenchai, and Nong-O Hama.
Carrillo's latest test was against No.4-ranked Saemapetch Fairtex. The hard-hitting Thai found slight success early on before suffering a similar fate to Carrillo's previous opponents, as the Scottish contender and division's top-ranked superstar emerged victorious at ONE Fight Night 23 with a second-round knockout.
During the post-event press conference, Carrillo was asked about the success he's achieved under the ONE banner thus far. The number one-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai fighter responded by saying:

"Another Thai legend added to the list. Not many people can say they've done what I'm doing."
ONE Fight Night 23 featured Nico Carrillo vs Saemapetch in the co-main event and Alibeg Rasulov vs Ok Rae Yoon in the main event.

On September 6, ONE Championship returns to North America for ONE 168 inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
The highly-anticipated event will be headlined by two-sport world champion Jonathan Haggerty defending his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai throne against ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek.
