Nico Carrillo says his game skyrocketed since massive Nong-O KO: "I've dreamed of days like this"

In just four fights with ONE Championship, Nico Carrillo has seen one of the quickest rises of anyone in the promotion.

The Scottish striker has continued to go from strength to strength and he's quickly seen the impact that it has had on his profile.

Nico Carrillo had definitely felt the impact of his success while being in Thailand, but one fight in particular changed how he was received back home in Scotland.

In a recent interview on the Leather'd Podcast, 'King of the North' spoke about how finishing a Thai legend really put him on the map:

"It happens more there. But after the Nong-O fight is when I really started seeing it here. Being in my car, out running, or people getting out of the malls asking like... it's a nice recognition. Sometimes people ask, 'Do you get bored taking pictures and stuff like that?' But, you know, I've dreamed of days like this when I was younger. I can't wait to get there. But yeah, when it does come around, it's cool."

Nico Carrillo can continue to raise his profile

No. 2-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Nico Carrillo has already accomplished so much in such a short time, but his profile is only going to continue climbing, especially if he keeps winning.
