Second-ranked ONE Championship bantamweight Muay Thai contender 'King of the North' Nico Carrillo of Scotland says things are going rather smoothly leading up to arguably the biggest fight of his career this weekend.
Carrillo is getting ready to face six-foot-four-inch tall phenom Nabil Anane in a battle for the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world title. And the 26-year-old Scottish fighter is confident he can get the job done and bring the belt back home.
However, Carrillo would have preferred more time to prepare for Anane, given that it has only been a few weeks since original opponent 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 pulled out of their fight due to injury.
Nevertheless, Carrillo believes that the best fighters make the necessary adjustments, and he and his team have certainly made changes to face a different kind of foe.

'King of the North' said:
"The game plan has been going really well, but obviously – yeah, if we had more time to prepare then everything would have went a bit more swiftly."
Fans can't wait to see Carrillo and Anane throw down in the Circle on Friday night. It all comes to a head at ONE 170.
