A social media interaction between a former interim WBC titleholder and a UFC interviewer has conveyed that Donald Trump has support from many in the combat sports world. It is election day in the United States with Vice President Kamala Harris looking to remove the 'vice' portion of her title while Trump seeks another tenure as the U.S. President.
Many took to their social media platforms to indicate who they were supporting, with Nina-Marie Daniele and Ryan Garcia being in political alignment with one another. The polarizing pugilist posted a photo to his Instagram page of himself alongside Trump with the caption:
"Bring it home ususus AMERICA FIRST. Trump for the KO. No other choice for America #trump2024"
Many took to the comment section of the post to have their say including Daniele. The UFC content creator commented on the post by referencing Garcia's arch-rival Devin Haney:

Donald Trump and his supporters within combat sports
Donald Trump has several supporters within the combat sports world who fervently voice their support for the polarising figure.
Colby Covington certainly stands out as a passionate Trump supporter and has attached the MAGA branding to his own gimmick for years now. The two have showcased support for the other in their respective endeavors and Covington is going to be the first name many think of in terms of UFC fighters who support Trump.
The 78-year-old not only has a lot of love from the former interim welterweight titleholder but also has a lot of support from a former UFC middleweight champion.
Sean Strickland is the individual in question who also has a lot of love for the former host of The Apprentice and has taken several photo ops with him. These pictures have ranged from meet-ups at public events to a cage-side photo that Strickland took with Trump after besting Paulo Costa at UFC 302 in June.
The New York native is also beloved by former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo who has spoken out in support of the MAGA movement at past Trump-affiliated events.
Dana White is also one of many in the combat sports world who counts himself as a Trump guy, having spoken at the RNC before. Trump also seems favored by the UFC fans and many within their broader team behind the scenes in general as evidenced by the reactions he gets at live events and being platformed by the promotion's official podcast.
