Nina-Marie Daniele reacts to Alex Pereira's ceremonial weigh-in prep video: "Were those the spirits Jiri was talking about?"

Nina-Marie Daniele recently reacted to Alex Pereira's preparation for his ceremonial weigh-in by making a reference to Jiri Prochazka's comments leading up to the fight. The journalist took notice of the collaboration between the UFC and the Blue Man Group, who have a massive following on Instagram.

Ahead of UFC 303, Prochazka claimed that the light heavyweight champion had been using magic and spirits to gain an advantage over his opponents. 'Poatan' obviously refuted that claim and the comments have since sparked a hilarious response from the MMA community including Dana White.

The UFC posted a video of the Brazilian having his face painted prior to the ceremonial weigh-ins and the Blue Man Group providing assistance. The video caught the attention of Daniele, who commented by mentioning that perhaps Prochazka confused the influencers for spirits. She wrote:

In the video, the Brazilian is seen first demonstrating on a heavy bag with force behind it.

'Poatan' then teaches Daniele proper technique as well as highlighting the misconception on how to get the most power from kicks. Pereira even lands a kick he claims is one-percent power, which has the journalist immediately highlighting the strength and informing fans to watch his fight at UFC 303.
