Popular MMA content creator Nina-Marie Daniele and Brazilian featherweight combatant Diego Lopes never miss an occasion to complement one another.
ESPN MMA recently posted on Instagram, informing fight fans that Lopes has received the ESPN MMA 2024 Award for Breakout Fighter of the Year.
The 29-year-old Brazilian has been on a five-fight win streak starting in 2023 with his an over Gavin Tucker in UFC on ESPN 50. In 2024, Lopes won back-to-back against Sodiq Yusuff, Dan Ige, and Brian Ortega.
Following Lopes' unanimous decision over Ortega, he announced his intention to face former featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski. He was also the backup combatant in the UFC 308 featherweight title bout between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway.

The Brazilian featherweight is currently ranked third in his division and has surprised fight fans around the globe with his punching, grappling, and signature haircut.
ESPN MMA captioned the aforementioned post on Instagram, congratulating Lopes and wrote:

Nina-Marie Daniele has been spotted with Diego Lopes several times. She was spotted training and learning Jiu-Jitsu with Lopes, before his bout against Brian Ortega.
Daniele is also a lover of the Braziian's haircut, as she stated on social media. He was also shown teaching her how to box in a YouTube video.
In a video uploaded by the MMA interviewer, Diego was also seen teaching the YouTuber how to throw the perfect uppercut. The caption of the post read:
