Nina-Marie Daniele wants Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira to fight again

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira’s rivalry started way back in 2016 and went on for seven years. In April 2016, Adensaya faced Pereira at Glory of Heroes 1 and sustained a unanimous decision defeat. Nearly a year later, 'Poatan' secured a third-round knockout victory against 'The Last Stylebender' at Glory of Heroes 15.

In UFC 281, the then-middleweight champion Adesanya faced Pereira for the first time in the octagon. The Brazilian continued his fantastic record against Adesanya with a fifth-round knockout win.

Adesanya returned to winning ways at UFC 287 when he defeated Pereira via second-round knockout. After this loss, Pereira moved up to light heavyweight and has won and defended the title three times.

Meanwhile, Adesanya lost his middleweight crown to Sean Strickland at UFC 293 and then lost to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 305. He will return in 2025 and square off against Nassourdine Imavov on Feb. 1.
