Nina-Marie Daniele shares the fight she wants to see in 2025 featuring young star who was recently let go by Dana White's UFC

With the start of the new year, the UFC is gearing up for it. Nina-Marie Daniele, a prominent face as an MMA interviewer was seen playing matchmaker. In an Instagram post, the promotion asked fans about the fights they wish to see this year.

"There are a TON of potential matchups & we want to hear from you!"

Nina-Marie Daniele showed up in the comments and expressed her wish to see a young star who was released by the UFC in 2024 take on Alexandre Pantoja:

"Pantoja vs Mokaev."

Muhammad Mokaev was released from the UFC after his fight with Manel Kape at UFC 304. Dana White mentioned that matchmakers weren't impressed with Mokaev's heavy wrestling style. He was cut after extending his winning streak to seven in the promotion.

On the other hand, Alexandre Pantoja had a dream run in 2024. He defended the UFC men's flyweight title two times, against Steve Erceg and Kai Asakura.

When Nina-Marie Daniele revealed Sean Strickland's persona off the internet

Nina-Marie Daniele is a close friend of former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland. She is often seen hanging out with him besides having him in her interviews. Strickland is known for his controversial views due to which he often finds himself in hot water.

Daniele took to her X last year and addressed the question about 'Tarzan's online and offline personalities:

"Hate to break it to you guys but Sean Strickland is not the same person in real life and on the internet. I get asked this question daily LOL. @SStricklandMMA is probably one of the nicest and most supportive/caring friends I have LMAO. People ask me… “why are you friends with Sean?” Uhm cuz he’s nice AF and the coolest dude you will ever meet! He will refute this and also deny it but it’s TRUE lol."
