Nina-Marie Daniele recently voiced her appreciation for Alex Pereira and his coach Plinio Cruz following one of their noteworthy achievements.
2024 saw Pereira achieve a lot of noteworthy feats. The Brazilian defended his UFC light heavyweight gold three times. Apart from maintaining an incredible activity rate, Pereira also finished all three of his title defense rivals, which included two former UFC champions, Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill.
Pereira's incredible run this year earned him the prestigious Fighter of the Year award at the World MMA Awards ceremony at The Theater at Virgin Hotels, Las Vegas. Additionally, 'Poatan's' coach, Plinio Cruz, also bagged the 2024 MMA Coach of the Year award for his contribution towards 'Poatan's success.
Daniele, who has created a lot of UFC-themed content with Pereira, congratulated him and his coach on their distinguished feat. She posted a snap with Pereira and Cruz to her Instagram story along with a few appreciative lines. 'Nina Drama' penned:

The ending of Alex Pereira's WMMA Awards speech got the crowd enchanted
The WMMA award ceremonies showcased an uncanny similarity with UFC fights as the winners got the chance to express themselves on the mic, much like the octagon interviews of fighters.
Like every other winner, Pereira also took to the mic after winning the Fighter of the Year award. A translator rendered Pereira's Portuguese into English for the entirety of his speech. But the crowd didn't need the translator to realize the ending word of Pereira's speech. A video from MMA Junkie showcased how 'Poatan' made the crowd go crazy with his final word. He said:
"I have one last thing to say [via translator]. Chama!"
