Nina-Marie Daniele recently came up with a hilarious reaction after knowing about Shavkat Rakhmonov's New Year resolution. The resolution that Rakhmonov mentioned could be found in both his moniker and name.
Rakhmonov had his last in-octagon encounter against Ian Machado Garry at the co-main event of UFC 310. 'Nomad' advanced his undefeated record to 19-0 with a unanimous decision victory. But he couldn't manage to finish his rival in the fight, which took away his record of boasting a 100% finish rate in his pro-MMA career.
After his victory, Rakhmonov also had an in-octagon face-off with the current welterweight champ and his next possible rival, Belal Muhammad. A large chunk of the MMA community views Rakhmonov as the victor of this potential fight and hence as the next UFC welterweight champ.
A recent Instagram post from the UFC's official account showcased that winning the welterweight gold isn't a part of Rakhmonov's New Year resolution. They questioned a few UFC athletes about their New Year resolutions with a DM. Their message read:

"What's your New Year's resolution for 2025? (non-fight related)"
'Nomad' hilariously replied he had "No" resolution.
"No"
Daniele expressed her amusement about Rakhmonov's reply with a comment on the post. She also highlighted how Rakhmonov had chosen a resolution that was there in his moniker as well. Her comment read:
"Shavkat NOmad Rakhmonov😆"
UFC welterweight picks Belal Muhammad as the victor of his potential fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov has showcased that he possesses a pretty well-rounded fight game along with impressive cardio and a strong chin. 'Nomad' got rocked by a strong combo from Geoff Neal in the third round of their UFC 285 fight, but still went on to win the fight via submission.
But a large chunk of the UFC community along with the British welterweight, Michael 'Venom' Page, mentioned that Rakhmonov looked out of color during his UFC 310 fight against Ian Machado Garry.
In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Page also opined that Rakhmonov may not be able to get the better of his next potential rival, Belal Muhammad if he comes out with the same approach. Page said:
"A hundred percent now, this Shavkat here, if he had fought Belal, Belal was munching him, yamming him for breakfast."
