“No easy fight” - Thai sniper Sinsamut Klinmee describes what it’s like fighting through ONE Championship’s roster of killers

Sinsamut Klinmee has no regrets about the road he’s traveled in ONE Championship as he gears up for his next challenge.

The Thai powerhouse is set to square off against Spanish dynamo Nauzet Trujillo in a high-stakes lightweight Muay Thai clash at ONE 170, taking place in front of a sold-out crowd at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, this Friday, January 24.

A fan favorite in his homeland, Sinsamut is known for his highlight-reel finishes. He made an explosive start in the promotion with back-to-back knockout victories over elite opponents, only to suffer consecutive world title losses at the hands of reigning lightweight Muay Thai king Regian Eersel.

Nevertheless, Sinsamut remained one of the more dangerous strikers in the division, with dominant wins over Victor Teixeira and Mouhcine Chafi.

Sinsamut, though, knows that fighting against some of the best strikers in ONE Championship is not an easy path, and embraces the challenge of facing top-tier competition.

He shared this in an interview with ONE:

“For me, every opponent in ONE is very talented. Every fight is a tough one, no easy fight. I have to follow the plan that me and my team prepared.”

This upcoming showdown promises fireworks as Sinsamut’s lethal boxing and bout-ending power go up against Trujillo’s relentless pace and seemingly endless gas tank.

Sinsamut Klinmee faces a tricky opponent at ONE 170

Standing in Sinsamut Klinmee’s way is Nauzet Trujillo, a striker who built his reputation on Europe’s unforgiving Muay Thai circuit.

The Spaniard made his ONE debut in August 2023 with a valiant effort against Thai veteran Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong. Though he came up short on the scorecards, his fearless approach and dynamic striking left a lasting impression.

Trujillo rebounded in emphatic fashion, scoring a dominant decision victory over British standout Liam Nolan in February 2024.

Now, with momentum on his side, Trujillo plans to author his first finish under the organization’s banner at Sinsamut’s expense.
