Noche UFC 306 recently committed a major broadcasting blunder when Terence Crawford was misidentified as someone else famous. All of this transpired before Crawford called out Canelo Alvarez.

Crawford marked his presence at Noche UFC 306 this past Saturday as he was spotted sitting next to Saudi Arabia's Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh. Furthermore, 'Bud' was mistakenly identified as Grammy-winning artist Kendrick Lamar as the camera focused on their seats.

MMA journalist Chamatkar Sadhu recently took to X and reported this significant mistake made by the UFC broadcast, writing:

''Erm... that is not Kendrick Lamar''

The aforementioned incident sparked a hilarious reaction from former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, who took to X and wrote:

''Terance Crawford evolved into Kendrick Lamar tonight #UFC306''

Following Alvarez's successful super middleweight title defense against Edgar Berlanga, which took place last weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Crawford, who was sitting next to Alalshikh, called out the Mexican during his Instagram live.

Boxing journalist Michael Benson took to X and shared the clip of Crawford calling out Alvarez, writing:

''Terence Crawford and His Excellency Turki Alalshikh calling out Canelo Alvarez after his win vs Edgar Berlanga…''

Check out the post below:

Before his matchup with Berlanga, Alvarez was asked if he would ever face Crawford. In response, the 34-year-old said he would be willing to fight "if the money is right," referring to a sum of roughly $150 million. The legendary Mexican boxer went on to say that he would easily defeat Crawford.

That didn't sit well with Crawford, who chastised Alvarez for avoiding a fight by declining Alalshikh's offer. The 36-year-old also bashed Alvarez for treating him like a worthless opponent.

As for Crawford, in his last boxing outing, he captured the WBA junior middleweight title with a unanimous decision against Israil Madrimov last month.
