Former longtime ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion and all-around Thai legend Nong-O Hama is getting ready to make his grand return to the ONE Championship ring and continue his march back toward world title contention.

Nong-O is looking to build on an impressive victory over highly regarded youngster 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at ONE Friday Fights 58 earlier this year. The legendary veteran took out his younger adversary via a three-round unanimous decision and looked every bit of the world champion fans know him as.

Recently, Nong-O has taken to his close friend, ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon's home gym at Superbon Training Camp in Bangkok to prepare for his upcoming fight.

He posted it on his official Instagram account with the caption:

"🫡 99% ready @superbon.trainingcamp @khunsuek_0904"

It looks as though Nong-O is ready to go and appears to be in prime shape. It's going to be a long night for whoever is scheduled to face him in the ring.

The former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion wants to make it two in a row and fight his way back into a world title shot.

Nong-O Hama to face unbeaten Russian Kiamran Nabati at ONE Friday Fights 81

Thai legend Nong-O Hama may need to make a habit of facing opponents much younger than he is. At 37 years of age in a young man's game, Nong-O is nearing the twilight of his fighting career.

That being said, he's still dangerous in all aspects and is looking for a victory over another young foe in his next fight.

Nong-O is set to lock horns with Russia's Kiamran Nabati. The two square off at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, September 27.

Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action live via global pay-per-view on watch.onefc.com. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda MMA for all the latest news and updates surrounding the event.
