Thai striker Nong-O Hama is a dominant Muay Thai world champion, exemplified by his knockout win over Saemapetch Fairtex back in 2019.
Nong-O is ONE Championship's reigning, defending bantamweight Muay Thai king. The 36-year-old owns seven successful title defenses, including five consecutive wins by stoppage.
He'll attempt to defend his title against England's Jonathan Haggerty at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video.

"Decimation 😨 Can Nong-O pick up his SIXTH straight knockout win when he defends the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title against Jonathan Haggerty at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video?"
@hyaapa added: Nong-O is bigger and better than Rodtang, I don’t think Haggerty has any change against him. I predict an early stoppage.
@halfwhitebrowndelight commented: How can you not love this man
@nomadnorbert wrote: I love Haggerty but he doesn’t stand a chance.
@life.at.40s penned: Hmm not many people can do this to saemaperch 🙌 nong o is just different
@rod_fairtex_lol said: Haggerty is not in the same class as Nong O. I like Haggerty but it seems unlikely he has any chance of winning. cant wait for Nong O vs Rodtang !!

Nong-O Hama reveals he has had his eyes on Jonathan Haggerty for quite some time
Nong-O Hama claims to have had an eye on Jonathan Haggerty since his pair of bouts against Rodtang Jitmuangnon. The champ knows how talented his next challenger is, telling ONE:
“I’ve been watching Haggerty for a long time now, going back to his world title fights against Rodtang. He’s very skilled and uses many different Muay Thai techniques,” said the champion, alluding to fellow Thai superstar and world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Haggerty is currently in the midst of a three-fight win streak, beating Taiki Naito, Mongkolpetch Petchyindee Academy, and most recently, Vladimir Kuzmin.
Be sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 9 on April 21 to watch the bantamweight Muay Thai world title clash between champion Nong-O Hama and challenger Jonathan Haggerty, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
