Conor McGregor has just shared his reaction to the woman who falsely accused footballer Theo Hernandez of rape receiving a six-month jail sentence. The Irishman took to X, where he replied to a tweet about the latest development in Hernandez's legal battle.
However, the UFC star does not feel that a six-month sentence for a false rape accusation is severe enough. McGregor, who heavily implies that he too is a victim of a false rape accusation, called for a more serious punishment for Hernandez's accuser.
"If it had gone the other way, the sentence would have been 10 year for the footballer. The sentences should be replicated if proven to be lies. 6 months for attempting to put a person away for a large portion of their life with lies is NOT ENOUGH!"

McGregor himself was recently found liable, by the Irish High Court, for assaulting Nikita Hand in an incident that dates back to late 2018. While the former UFC two-division champion disputes the verdict of his civil court case, and even claimed he would be appealing the decision, he has remained relatively silent about it.
In light of his own sexual assault scandal, McGregor quickly found himself in an unenviable position, with many of his business partners abandoning him, while a gym in his native Ireland painted over a mural of his within their walls. Despite it all, BKFC founder Dave Feldman has refused to denounce him.
Moreover, UFC CEO Dana White completely shut down a media member's attempt at coaxing an opinion from him on the matter.
Conor McGregor found a controversial ally for his own sexual assault case
Just as Conor McGregor reacted to the verdict of Theo Hernandez's sexual assault case, Andrew Tate reacted to his. The kickboxer-turned-controversial social media influencer penned his outrage on X over McGregor being found liable for assaulting Nikita Hand.
"Bullsh*t ruling against Conor McGregor. Women sleep with rich men and if that man doesn't fund their life afterwards they lie and sue. Their brutal narcissism can't take the L of being undesired. We've set a dangerous precedent. It's literally impossible to be a man in the western world."
Tate himself is currently facing charges relating to sexual assault and human trafficking. As expected, he maintains his innocence, claiming to be the victim of a global conspiracy against him.
