Reigning and undisputed ONE light heavyweight and middleweight MMA world champion 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin of Russia is in good spirits despite his perfect professional MMA record having been sullied by Senegalese rival Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane just last month.
Malykhin lost a close split decision to the African star at ONE 169 on Prime Video, surrendering his heavyweight MMA gold and suffering his first loss in the process.
However, the 36-year-old Golden Team and Tiger Muay Thai product has vowed to come back stronger and with a vengeance.
Speaking to fans at a recent ONE Championship meet and greet in Bangkok during ONE Fight Night 26 event week, Malykhin reiterated his desire to get his belt back.

"My team and I are not going to give up. We’re grateful to everyone for their support and will keep pushing forward."
Malykhin is already hard at work, looking to improve his areas of weakness and preparing for a potential rematch with 'Reug Reug' in the near future.
Needless to say, fans would love to see Malykhin and Kane run it back in another five-round war of attrition.
