Jamahal Hill opens up on UFC PI altercation with Alex Pereira
Jamahal Hill recently shed light on his heated encounter with Alex Pereira at the UFC Performance Institute (PI), where the two rivals crossed paths during separate training sessions. The tension stems from their clash at UFC 300, where Pereira defeated Hill via a first-round knockout.
In a YouTube video reposted by @ChampRDS on X, Hill recounted the confrontation, explaining that he initially approached Pereira for a conversation. However, the interaction escalated when Pereira’s translator conveyed a provocative remark:
"I was at the PI earlier, and Alex was there. I just finished working out, he was working out, and I went to go up and have a conversation... Initially, when I went up to him, it was smooth... And in the exchange, he said something to his translator, and his translator said, ‘He said you’re still sleeping, woke up and s***!’. I’m wide awake now! You can get put to sleep for real!"
He added:
"Then it kind of went to a fake a**, ‘Yeah, come get the gloves and go in the cage'... When I’m out in a situation like that, we could throw hands right now."
