Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are set to meet once again for the undisputed heavyweight title in a highly anticipated rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Usyk, who triumphed over Fury by split decision in their first encounter in May, added Fury's WBC title to his WBA, WBO, and IBF belts, becoming the first fighter in history to claim undisputed status in two weight classes.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Usyk reflected on the trash talk leading up to the fight, offering a surprisingly lighthearted take.
Hinting at the camaraderie despite the fierce rivalry, Usyk said:
"Yes, I enjoy this. Because these are the emotions, these are the memories that when we are two old men, he [Tyson] promised to come to Ukraine to my ranch. We’re going to be drinking beer and he will say ‘remember how you beat me twice.'"
