Oleksandr Usyk recently disclosed who between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is the more formidable opponent. Usyk took on both Fury and Joshua twice, winning every time.

In 2021, the Ukrainian defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to win the WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight belts. Then, in their 2022 rematch, he successfully defended those titles by winning by split decision.

Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999 when he defeated Fury via split decision earlier this year, earning him the WBC title, the only heavyweight title lacking from his collection.

Then this past weekend, at the same venue as their first fight in Saudi Arabia, the 37-year-old defeated Fury by unanimous decision to successfully defend his WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight titles.

Following back-to-back defeats at the hands of Usyk, Fury is poised to meet his countryman Joshua, according to several reports. Meanwhile, 'AJ' is also coming off of a loss. He squared off against Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title in September but was knocked out in the fifth round.

In a recent interview with Seconds Out, legendary boxing coach Teddy Atlas gave his take on the potential matchup between Fury and Joshua, saying:

''I think that Fury is probably more versatile, he probably has more dimensions to him. Joshua is a better puncher, I think. Setting himself for one good shot... I think that would be a good fight because both guys are coming off losses, both guys are coming off where they've both lost a little piece of themselves. So, it, kind of, evens out."

Eddie Hearn voiced his skepticism on Oleksandr Usyk's victory over Tyson Fury

Eddie Hearn was present at the Kingdom Arena to witness Oleksandr Usyk defeat Tyson Fury by unanimous decision.

However, according to him, it was a close fight and could have gone either way. In an interview with iFL TV following the contest, Hearn said:

''I thought it was a very fight. I thought Usyk nicked the last round, I did a draw but you know there seems to be a lot of people that had Usyk the winner, I think is that the overall. I just felt like there was a lot of close rounds.''
