Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will meet in the ring for a second time on Dec. 21 in a highly anticipated rematch. Their first bout took place in May, with the Ukrainian securing victory via split decision to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Given the competitive nature of their first bout, predictions are swaying back and forth about who will come out on top in the second fight. Leading boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is one such person, as he recently noted that Usyk's unusual demeanour has caused him to change his mind on the bout's winner.

The Matchroom Boxing chairman said during a recent interview with TNT Sports:

"Usyk seems to have this, for once, strange aura and speak of confidence and borderline - not arrogance because he's not that guy, but I've never heard him talk about how good he is. People are feeding him with lines, but he's still [saying], 'I will stop [Fury]. Yes, I am the best.' I've not really seen that before."

He continued:

"Now Fury, he looks calm, he looks fit. I'm changing my mind. I'm gonna go for Tyson Fury. I just feel like this fight is about extraordinary things. Usyk always does extraordinary things, but every now and again Fury is capable of the most remarkable things."

Tyson Fury confident Oleksandr Usyk won't want a trilogy after handing him a beating in the rematch

Tyson Fury suffered his first professional defeat when he faced off against Oleksandr Usyk on May 18 for the undisputed heavyweight world title. With their rematch less than three days away, 'The Gypsy King' has made it clear that he wants payback.

During the pre-fight build up, the former WBC champion revealed that he had not spoken to his wife for three months in preparation for the rematch. With the Brit appearing as focused as ever entering his second bout with 'The Cat', he recently shared a chilling prediction for fight night.

During an interview with TNT Sports, Fury said:

"My mission is to smash this f**ker's face right in on Saturday night. There's no chance he can beat me... I can do everything now. I've never been as confident in my life of smashing a f**ker's face in that I am of doing him on Saturday... What I'm gonna do to him, he won't want a trilogy." [7:50 - 10:05]
