In the fight, Usyk's relentless pressure and body shots paved the way for his victory. Despite a good start, Fury could not implement the game plan of keeping Usyk off effectively.

Tyson Fury and Frank Warren question the scorecards, Oleksandr Usyk responds
Oleksandr Usyk has defeated Tyson Fury twice in a row, suggesting their competitive rivalry may have ended. Although both men show respect for each other after the fight, Fury and his promoter, Frank Warren, strongly criticized the scorecards.
During the post-fight press conference, a journalist asked Fury if Usyk embodied the spirit of his country, which is currently embroiled in an armed conflict. Fury responded, stating:
“I didn’t feel no spirit. I felt a bit of Christmas spirit in there and think he got a Christmas gift from those judges.”

During a ringside interaction with TNT Sports, Warren criticized the scorecards, saying he was "dumbfounded" that the judges scored most of the later rounds in Usyk's favor.
When asked to share his thoughts on Fury and Warren's comments about the scoring, Usyk said:
"Uncle Frank, I think [he's] blind. If Tyson says it's a Christmas gift, okay! Thank you, God, Not Tyson. Thank you, my coach... my team. Listen, Frank is a crazy man, I think, that's my opinion. Okay, No problem! I win."
