Former lightweight UFC champion Charles Oliveira has revealed his goals for 2025 in a social media post.
In his most recent fight at UFC 309, Oliveira fought against Michael Chandler and secured a dominant victory by unanimous decision. In doing so, the Brazilian appeared to cement himself as next in line for the lightweight title.
‘Do Bronx’ recently took to X to share his goals for the nw year with fans. He revealed his aim to reclaim the 155-pound title, posting a five-word message:
“New Year, Same Goal! Gold.”

The tweet sparked reactions from several MMA enthusiasts, who rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on Oliveira’s title aspirations.

Charles Oliveira assures he will be in attendance at UFC 311
Charles Oliveira is likely to face the winner of the upcoming lightweight championship bout between reigning champion Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan. The fight is set to take place on Jan. 18 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
At the UFC 309 post-fight press conference, Charles Oliveira was asked about Dana White's claim that he would send a plane for the Brazilian to attend UFC 311.
Oliveira confirmed his attendance and expressed his aspirations to reclaim the title. He said:
"For sure. I want to be a champion. Everybody knows this. I'm going to take a couple days off. Since the boss told you guys he's coming to pick me up, I'll be right there."

The Brazilian has faced both fighters and suffered defeats against them. He squared off with Makhachev at UFC 280, where he suffered a submission loss in second round.
Last year, he faced Tsarukyan at UFC 300, losing by a closely contested split decision.
