British Muay Thai cornerstone Liam Harrison has warned towering striker Nabil Anane to be wary of what awaits him when he goes against Nico Carrillo for the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE 170 on Friday, Jan. 24.
'Hitman' recently spoke with ONE Championship to break down the world title tilt between the rising stars, saying:
"His best wins have come at 135 pounds. Granted, he's moved up and beat a legend like Muangthai and beat Felipe Lobo at 145 pounds, but none of these guys can hit the way Nico does."

Originally, 'The King of the North' was set to challenge ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the 145-pound Muay Thai crown at ONE 170.
However, the promotion announced in December that 'The Kicking Machine' had to withdraw due to a knee injury. This opened the door for the 6-foot-4 Algerian-Thai to step in and fight Carrillo for interim gold.
With both fighters on the cusp of winning their first world championship, fans inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, could be in store for an unforgettable war.

Liam Harrison hints when ONE Championship swan song could happen
Liam Harrison signaled his retirement by leaving his gloves in the circle after falling via second-round TKO to fellow legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang in their once-in-a-lifetime Muay Thai matchup at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.
However, the 39-year-old recently shared he will have a proper farewell fight very soon. In a separate interview with the promotion, the Bad Company product revealed:
"Retirement was to be the plan, but they can't keep me away. So in March, I'm fighting in Manchester on Hitman Fight League for the WBC Diamond Belt. I'm a former WBC World Champion. And then I'll be back in ONE around the summertime."
