Tawancahi plans on ending 2025 with not one, but two ONE World Championship titles around his waist. Currently, the Thai superstar reigns as the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world titleholder.
However, that could all change this Friday, Jan. 24, when he heads to the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand for a massive rematch against the promotion's undisputed featherweight kickboxing king, Superbon, at ONE 170.

The first time around, Tawanchai secured a unanimous decision win over Superbon in their instant classic at ONE Friday Fights 46.

If he can bag a second straight win over Superbon, Tawanchai has every intention of challenging his countryman for the undisputed featherweight kickboxing crown and etching his name in the history books as a two-sport champion.
"My goal in 2025 is to keep my Muay Thai belt and be the kickboxing king," Tawanchai told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview.
But first, Tawanchai will have to get past Superbon — a P4P great motivated by his own dreams of two-sport glory.
Superbon believes he's unlocked the secret to defeating Tawanchai
After defeating Marat Grigorian in April to claim the interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world title, Superbon was promoted to undisputed champion, allowing him to do what few have done in ONE Championship and carry belts in two different sports simultaneously.
But to do that, he'll have to solve the puzzle that is Tawanchai, a well-rounded striker who hasn't lost a fight in nearly four years.
Learning from the mistakes of his first meeting with Tawanchai, Superbon believes he has found the key to dethroning his fellow Thai and taking home another 26 pounds of gold.
But you'll have to wait until fight night to find out exactly what his game plan entails.
"From the last fight, I've got it figured out," Superbon told the promotion in a recent interview. "I'm gonna prepare for that. But we're not gonna tell you what we're gonna do. I figured it out every time, I'm that person who always works harder to be better."
