Shadow Singha Mawynn grew up watching his upcoming opponent's fights.
On Dec. 20, Shadow will face the toughest challenge of his ONE Championship career. The former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai world champion is scheduled to fight eight-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the ONE Friday Fights 92 main event.
Shadow has had an impressive start to his promotional tenure. With that said, the 24-year-old must overcome an experience disadvantage, as Sitthichai has found some of the most dangerous ONE fighters in kickboxing and Muay Thai.
During an interview with ONE, Shadow had this to say about Sitthichai:

“When I was a kid, I heard about him and watched his fights. He is one of the best strikers in the world, but I will do my best.”
ONE Friday Fights 92 goes down inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Friday's event will air live in Asian Primetime on December 20 in more than 190 countries around the globe.
Before Sitthichai vs. Shadow, ONE Friday Fights 92 features several world-class fighters, including Marat Grigorian, Anissa Meksen, and Panpayak Jitmuangnon.
Shadow Singha Mawynn's run in ONE Championship
Shadow Singha Mawynn made his ONE Championship debut in February at ONE Friday Fights 52. Things didn't start as planned for the former Rajadamnern Stadium champion, as he lost a unanimous decision against Mamuka Usubyan.
The Thai striker bounced back two months later with a third-round knockout against Erik Hehir. He's since continued building momentum with unanimous decision wins against Jimmy Vienot and Mohammad Siasarani.
At ONE Friday Fights 92, Shadow looks to make a massive statement in the ONE featherweight Muay Thai division, likely leading to a promotion to the main roster. It'll be easier said than done, as Sitthichai is coming off a significant win.
On June 7, Sitthichai went to war against Masaaki Noiri in kickboxing. 'Killer Kid' emerged victorious by unanimous decision, pushing his promotional records to 4-3 in kickboxing and 2-1 in Muay Thai.
Sitthichai's last Muay Thai fight was a unanimous decision loss against Mohammad Siasarani in September 2023. He now plans to prove he's still a threat to the featherweight division's world title.
