Aung La N Sang’s last-minute opponent will be a tough test for the Myanmar legend
When Gilberto Galvao makes his first appearance in more than three years, it’ll be with relatively short notice. His opponent, Aung La N Sang, was originally scheduled to face Fan Rong on January 13, but unforeseen circumstances have thrust Galvao into the spotlight against the middleweight fan favorite.
Despite being a short-notice replacement, Galvao will still enter the bout as dangerous as ever. With power in his hands and a sound grappling game, ‘Giba’ could cause a lot of problems for ‘The Burmese Python’ who has struggled with his ground game in previous years.
