ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong is pumped for a kickboxing clash between Superbon Singha Mawyn and Chingiz Allazov this Friday night.
Headlining the promotion's return to action at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Superbon will defend his featherweight kickboxing world championship against the No. 1 ranked contender and Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix champion, Chingiz Allazov. Just hours away from their highly-anticipated championship showdown, Sityodtong shared his excitement for the impending bout at the event’s official press conference.
“I would say, I’ve been a fan of both Superbon and Chingiz for a very long time. We are seeing the very best Chingiz Allazov [we’ve] ever seen ever in his entire career, but I’m also seeing the very best Superbon in his entire career as well.”
Sityodtong continued, saying:

“It’s going to be an all-out war. This main event is going to light up not just Thailand, it’s going to light up the entire world. I predict someone’s getting knocked out. I predict a KO between Superbon and Chingiz. The ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion and the Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix champion are the two best strikers on the planet today.”
With 113 career wins, Superbon quickly established himself as the best pound-for-pound kickboxer in the world with three consecutive wins inside the Circle against some of the best strikers in the world: Sitthichai Sitsonpeenong, Giorgio Petrosyan, and Marat Grigorian. However, his meeting with Allazov could be his toughest test yet.
Chingiz Allazov expects Superbon to avoid a fight at ONE Fight Night 6
Chingiz Allazov will be looking for his 60th career win after practically walking through the Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix tournament that concluded at the promotion's 10th-anniversary event in March. ‘Chinga’ needed less than a combined three minutes to knockout out Samy Sana and Jo Nattawut in the quarter-finals and semifinal rounds before scoring a decisive win against the aforementioned Sitthichai in the tournament final.
Hours away from a long-awaited world title opportunity, ‘Chinga’ fully expects Supebon Singha Mawynn to avoid going toe-to-toe at Impact Arena in Bangkok. In an interview with the promotion, Allazov said:
"He doesn’t like punching. He doesn’t like real fights, you know? He has this clever game plan. He has kicks, kicks, kicks, and after that, maybe he would like the fight. Maybe you should talk to him. Chingiz said Superbon doesn’t fight. He doesn’t like a boxing fight. He doesn’t like a power fight."
