Fabricio Andrade has been having issues finding training partners for his upcoming fight.
Andrade is preparing for a ONE Championship bantamweight title fight against John Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3. ‘Wonder Boy’ is learning that being a young phenom in MMA has its positives and negatives.
The title challenger trains out of the legendary Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand, where he is struggling to find training partners. When asked by Tudor Leonte of Sherdog.com, who his main sparring partners are for his upcoming fight, Andrade had this to say:

“I used to train with many big names before. But for this fight, it’s been hard to find training partners because people don’t want to spar [with] me. I’m not a guy who goes easy in sparring, I always go hard in training.”
He added:
“The hardest part for this camp was getting sparring partners. I’ve been trying to get three fresh guys all the time. That was the biggest challenge for this fight, was to get people to spar me.”
Lineker vs. Andrade will headline a stacked fight card featuring Kade Ruotolo vs. Uali Kurzhev in submission grappling, and Sinsamut Klinmee vs. Regian Eersel in Muay Thai.
One on Prime Video 3 goes down on Friday, October 21, from the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Fabricio Andrade says he trains like he fights
The struggle for Fabricio Andrade to find training partners certainly stems from his intensity while sparring. During the same interview, ‘Wonder Boy’ had this to say about his mentality during training:
“I will say I’m even more [intense]. I train like I fight... I don’t like to lose even in training. I have this crazy mentality that I have to beat everyone. Every time we spar, I drop everybody. My mentality is really crazy even in training. I always push myself to the limit. Even if it’s cardio or anything I do, I want to be the best and I want to be better than everyone.”
Andrade’s intense training could pay dividends against Lineker. ‘Hands of Stone’ is always looking for a finish, and his power can be devastating. ‘Wonder Boy’ will have to walk through fire to emerge victorious.
