Allycia Hellen Rodrigues is set to make her long-awaited return to the Circle in just a matter of hours at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.

Two-and-a-half years removed from capturing the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title with a brilliant performance against fan-favorite Stamp Fairtex, Rodrigues will defend her crown in a title unification bout against the woman who has been holding down the division in her absence, Janet Todd.

Ahead of their co-main event clash on Friday night, ONE Championship offered fans a preview of coming attractions on YouTube:

“Preview the thrilling ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title unification bout between reigning World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and interim titleholder Janet Todd at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video!”

With Allycia Hellen Rodrigues sidelined during the pregnancy and the birth of her son, Janet Todd established herself as one of the best strikers in all of women’s combat sports. ‘JT’ scored victories over Alma Juniku and Anne Line Hogstad on her way to a ONE interim world title opportunity against WBC Muay Thai world champion Lara Fernandez.

Despite Fernandez’s incredible resume, Todd made easy work of the Spanish standout, earning a unanimous decision win to become the division’s interim atomweight queen. She’ll attempt to turn her interim title into 26 pounds of undisputed gold this Friday night as ONE Champions returns to Singapore Indoor Stadium for ONE Fight Night 8.

Janet Todd excited for opportunity to establish herself as a two-sport ONE world champion against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues

When Janet Todd captured the ONE interim atomweight Muay Thai title in July, she technically became the promotion’s latest two-sport ONE world champion, but ‘JT’ doesn’t necessarily see it that way.

“It’s a belt, but it’s still like that sort of intermediate step,” Todd told MMA Underground. “It’s the interim belt. It’s not the full thing yet, so yeah, this fight means a lot more to me than the last fight because this is fighting the champ for that belt, and that'’ what I want to do.”

Todd has been in this position once before, challenging then-ONE world titleholder Stamp Fairtex back in 2019. Stamp bested her via a unanimous decision. Todd has not lost a single bout since that night, which was her promotional debut

“I lost my chance of getting that belt back in 2019 when I fought Stamp, and man, I clawed my way back up to this opportunity, and finally I get to have it, what, four years later?” Todd says. “It’s time.”

Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can catch Allycia Hellen Rodrigues vs. Janet Todd live and for free in U.S. primetime this Friday night.
