Two-sport conqueror Jonathan Haggerty is set to star in the ONE 168: Denver main event alongside fellow ONE world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9. Promotional debutant Nico Cornejo, like combat sports enthusiasts, is thrilled to see the British star back in action on September 6.
The promotion's hotly anticipated return to Denver, Colorado, sees the British fighter defend his bantamweight Muay Thai crown in a rematch against Superlek Kiatmoo9. Meanwhile, 'The Steel City Kid' goes toe-to-toe with teenage phenom Adrian Lee in a lightweight MMA tilt.
Baring his excitement for the bill and the chance to rub shoulders with Jonathan Haggerty in 'The Mile High City', Cornejo, during an in-studio interview with 9News, said:

"With Mikey and Kade, who are in the co-main event. You know, Jon Haggerty, shout out to Jonathan Haggerty. I've been following him a lot. He's the main event of the night. I was a fan overnight, and I hope to see him in person."
Cornejo carries two back-to-back finishes into his promotional bow inside Ball Arena. The 35-year-old turned pro last year after a highly successful 5-0 amateur career on the local circuit.
His opponent, meanwhile, is out to move to 2-0 in his career and on the global stage of the promotion. Lee debuted with a stellar rear-naked choke triumph of Australian upstart Antonio Mammarella at ONE 167 in June.

Meanwhile, Freddie Haggerty thinks a victory for his elder brother over Superlek will seal his reputation as the best striker today.
The younger Haggerty told the promotion earlier this month:
"If he beats Superlek, he's the pound-for-pound best."
