Long-time UFC commentator Joe Rogan has always been a big fan of watching all aspects of combat sports, not just MMA. He's been a key supporter of submission grappling, kickboxing, and Muay Thai despite being so synonymous with mixed martial arts.
This is something that Rogan has spoken about with regard to ONE Championship which prides itself as the home of martial arts. With cards that feature all of the four pillars of submission grappling, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA, ONE offers variety with world-class competitors in all fields.
On a recent episode of his JRE MMA Show, the stand-up comedian was joined by UFC superstar and former kickboxer Israel Adesanya. During the podcast, he spoke about how big of a fan he is of the way that ONE Championship houses multiple rule sets all under one roof:
"I like how ONE has everything. They have grappling matches, they have kickboxing matches, they have Muay Thai matches, and they have MMA matches. I think that is the way to go."

Joe Rogan wants striking sports to be bigger in the US
One of the things that Joe Rogan and ONE Championship have always had in common is the want to put striking sports on a bigger platform. Despite how big boxing and MMA are in the United States, kickboxing and Muay Thai don't have nearly the same following.
This has always puzzled Rogan because it's exactly what combat sports fans want to watch, incredible action-packed fights with highlight reel knockouts. ONE Championship is doing that week-in and week-out with an emphasis on bringing both sports to a wider audience than ever before.
As a friend and fan of some of the best strikers and grapplers in the world, Rogan is happy to see them get the biggest platform possible.
