In the last minute of the opening round, the two threw down inside the clinch, and Kongthoranee caught Nakrob yet again with another straight left punch to end the round on a high note.

Round 2: Nakrob tried to pressure Kongthoranee by marching forward, but he received another barrage of counters to fend him off and back him up.

Nakrob got sat down with a left punch counter from Kongthoranee to score the first official knockdown. Since that knockdown, Nakrob tried to make things dirty on the close range, but he was still getting lit up with punches and elbow counters from Kongthoranee.

Round 3: Knowing he was behind the judges' scorecards, Nakrob went all in at the start of the third round and pressed Kongthoranee against the ropes with solid kicks to the thigh and calf.
