Double-champion Christian Lee says he's gunning for a first-round stoppage over Alibeg Rasulov at ONE Fight Night 26.
The 26-year-old superstar is en route to his first and last world title bout of the year feeling confident about retaining his ONE lightweight MMA belt in front of a sold-out crowd inside the Lumpinee Stadium this Friday.
Even after experiencing a two-year layoff, Lee is determined to prove that he can continue where he left off and still be a dominant force to reckon with. Sharing his plans for Alibeg Rasulov, 'The Warrior' told ONE:
"My plan is a first-round finish by submission. We'll see if the knockout comes before the submission.

Christian Lee etched his name in the history books when he knocked out MMA veteran Shinya Aoki in upset fashion for the ONE lightweight world title back in May 2019. As a result, he also became the youngest male fighter to win a championship in promotion history at age 21.
He later reclaimed his lightwelt belt from Ok Rae Yoon in August 2022, and then solidified his position as a double-world champion when he defeated former welterweight king Kiamrian Abbasov for his divisional crown in similar upset fashion at ONE on Prime Video 4.
ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov airs live in North America with an active Prime Video subscription.
"I'm looking forward to wearing it in my fights as well" - Christian Lee is excited to represent new gym by wearing the 'Prodigy' shirt in memory of sister Victoria Lee
Christian Lee is excited to wear and represent his new logo from the Prodigy Training Center located in Hawaii, USA.
The reason behind his two-year absence stems from his younger sister's sudden passing in December 2022. 'The Prodigy' Victoria Lee became an instant superstar when she submitted Thailand's Sunisa Srisen via a second-round stoppage in her debut fight back in February 2021.
Her absence from the world continues to be felt by the MMA community, as well as her family, friends, and relatives. Christian Lee is proud to represent Victoria's moniker by wearing the 'Prodigy' shirt upon his return at ONE Fight Night 26.
"I'm looking forward to wearing it in my fights, as well. It's a great meaning behind what we're doing."
