Denice Zamboanga plans to purchase a new car if she secures a $50,000 performance bonus in her next fight.
Later this week, Zamboanga will have a massive opportunity to secure the ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world title. To do so, the Filipino superstar must defeat Alyona Rassohyna at Friday's ONE Fight Night 27.
Denice Zamboanga plans to do more than win on Friday, as she's eyeing a $50,000 performance bonus. During an interview with ONE, the 27-year-old atomweight MMA contender had this to say about what she'd do with the extra money:
"Maybe if I get a bonus, I’ll buy five motorcycles. I’m just kidding. But I want to buy myself a CBR 650 when I get the chance but first, I’ll get myself a car."

Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna look to secure fight against Stamp Fairtex
Heading into ONE Fight Night 27, Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna are eyeing a unification bout against women's atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex.
Rassohyna has only fought in ONE Championship twice, both against Stamp. Rassohyna won the first contest by third-round submission, while Stamp emerged victorious in the rematch with a split decision.
Meanwhile, Zamboanga is Stamp's close friend and former training partner. They were scheduled to fight for Stamp's women's atomweight MMA world title in 2024 before the champion pulled out due to a torn meniscus.
Zamboanga's and Rassohyna's history with Stamp makes their ONE Fight Night 27 matchup more intriguing. The winner at Friday's event is expected to face the Thai megastar in a unification bout later this year.
