ONE Fight Night 27 on Prime Video last Friday night saw an epic rematch between grappling stars Dante Leon and Tommy Langaker.
The 29-year-old Leon joined ONE Championship in late December, debuting with an impressive submission victory over BJJ black belt Bruno Pucci. He also took home a $50,000 performance bonus for his efforts.
Langaker scored a points victory over Leon in 2018, but now the two have rehashed their rivalry in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
ROUND 1: The pair of world-class grapplers literally butted heads to begin the match, looking to gain the upper hand with a testy grip fight and heavy collar ties.

Leon successfully pulled guard a minute and a half in while Langaker proceeded with some heavy pressure, passing as soon as the fight hit the mats.
The action picked up at the five-minute mark when the Norwegian ace stacked and employed a Ruotolo-esque leg-pinning passing.
Leon almost got his guard passed before executing a brilliant hip bump to create separation and turned it into a successful single-leg takedown.
A wild scramble ensued, with both fighters trading heel hook attempts. Leon's guard retention shined in the waning seconds as he completed an epic sweep. Once on top, the Canadian locked in a hail-mary armbar attempt ,but Langaker defended well as time expired.

While no catches were awarded, Leon shined and showcased a relentless attack that kept the Norwegian IBJJF champ on his heels. In the end, the Pedigo Submission Fighting athlete took home a unanimous decision for his efforts.
