ONE Championship's ONE Friday Fights 1 held its inaugural event at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The electric main event saw a battle for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Alaverdi Ramazanov with a co-main event of Prajanchai PK.Saenchai vs Kompetch Sitsarawatsuer.
After the ceremonial Wai Khru, the exciting ONE Friday Fights 1 main event got underway. Nong-O came out firing, attempting to find a home for his flurries. Russia's Ramazanov tried to use his length advantage by answering with long kick attacks.
The loud audience cheered for each strike landed by Thailand's Nong-O, including a heavy right hand and a series of body kicks. Ramazanov stunned the world champion with an authoritative jab at the end of the round.
Ramazanov began to time his teep kicks much more effectively, which sent Nong-O off his feet, in round 2. The Russian caught a kick and earned a sweep to close the round. In round 3, Thunderous punches from Nong-O against his cornered opponent erupted the Lumpinee Stadium audience. Nong-O knocked him to the floor with a liver strike and Ramazanov was unable to rise to his feet.
