ONE Friday Fights 4 full results: Duangsompong Jitmuangnon edges Batman Or.Atchariya in war

It’s slowly becoming a tradition, and ONE Friday Fights 4 did not disappoint.

The fourth edition of ONE Championship’s weekly shows at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium more than delivered on the hype, with Duangsompong Jitmuangnon and Batman Or.Atchariya closing out the Bangkok card.

Duangsompong took a majority decision win over Batman in their flyweight Muay Thai bout that had the Bangkok crowd on the edge of their seats.

The Jitmuangnon Gym fighter was quick to go on the attack and immediately wobbled Batman in the opening round. Duangsompong even caused a cut on Batman’s forehead and used that scarlet mark as his target until the end of the first.

Batman retaliated in the second round and tagged Duangsompong with a quick flying knee as well as a cracking left roundhouse kick.

While Batman continued his aggression in the third, Duangsompong went the clinical route and played off of Batman’s motion.

Duangsompong waited patiently to get his offense in and clocked Batman with accurate countershots.

“I’m confident because in every round I didn’t back down and I unleashed my weapons,” said Duangsompong in his post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson. “Yes, nothing really surprises me because I really prepared my punches and elbows.

“I’m always ready and I will fight whoever they put in my way, I also dedicate this fight to my mom.”

It was a magnificent outing for Duangsompong with his ONE Friday Fights 4 appearance serving as his debut for ONE Championship. The 24-year-old also captured his 70th career win in what should be a huge confidence booster for him.
