ONE Friday Fights 63 full results and recap: Yodphupa dazzles in majority decision triumph over Sen

Yodphupa Wimanair needed a victory at all costs against Soner Sen in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 63. Thankfully, his fine display inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on May 17 granted him just that.

The 20-year-old, who entered this fight on a three-match skid, wasted no time making his intentions known, going at 'Golden Boy' with heavy artillery to get the action going in their bantamweight Muay Thai joust.

Though Sen's range and height advantage made life difficult at times, Yodphupa brilliantly found ways to narrow the gap through thumping body kicks that came with bad intentions. So much so, that by the end of the opening frame, he had the marks of his vicious foot printed on the Turkish striker's midsection.

With momentum on his side, the Payakphudin upstart did not waste a split second to continue his onslaught in round two.

He capped off another solid three minutes of action on the latest edition of ONE Friday Fights with a stinging left hook-straight right that sat down the Team Mehdi Zatout affiliate.

It was all one-way traffic again inside the final round, though a visibly frustrated Sen did attempt to pull the tide in his favor with a final surge late on, much to the delight of the sold-out crowd inside the Mecca of Muay Thai.
