Kongsuk Fairtex made it two consecutive victories on the global stage at ONE Friday Fights 72 on July 26.
It was, however, anything but easy as his Algerian-French rival, Joachim Ouraghi, came ready to let his weapons fly in their 135.4-pound catchweight matchup that headlined the organization's latest installment of the Asian primetime spectacle inside the revered Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Petsaman affiliate used his aggression to trap the Thai striker in his game. From there, he followed up with elbows, punches, and kicks to leave the two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai world champion in a slump.

None of that mattered when the second round got underway, though, as the Fairtex Training Center representative took charge with a kicking game that left Ouraghi huffing and puffing as he went back to his corner at the end of the stanza.
With the tie seemingly level, both warriors hopped right back into their ONE Friday Fights fixture ready to make headway in the final frame.
However, it was Kongsuk who made the most of his chances, as he mixed up his strong kicking game from the second round with more firepower upstairs to take home a unanimous decision win after an all-action nine-minute war to go 64-17 in his career.
Earlier in the night, Freddie Haggerty – brother of two-sport ONE world champion Jonathan Haggerty – continued his hot streak of finishes at ONE Friday Fights with a first-round knockout of Thailand's Kaichon Sor Yingcharoenkarnchang.
Other notable stars who picked up victories on the promotion's latest offering inside the Mecca of Muay Thai include Theptaksin Sor Sornsing, Petnamkhong Mongkolpet, and Beybulat Isaev.
