ONE Friday Fights upstart Panrit says his success is all down to Superbon’s constant guidance: “He’s taught me everything”

Panrit praised Superbon for helping him evolve into a dangerous fighter.

Between February and August 2023, Panrit struggled to showcase his potential after losing three of his first four fights in ONE Championship. Since then, the Thai prospect has evolved at the Superbon Training Camp and rattled off four consecutive wins in 2024, including two by knockout.

Panrit recently did an interview with the Bangkok Post and had this to say about how Superbon has guided him to victory several times:

“Superbon has been such a great help for me to achieve all kinds of improvements. He's taught me everything and always guides me on how to score a victory against each opponent.”

Panrit's four-fight winning streak in 2024 has made him a strong candidate for a promotion from the ONE Friday Fights series. At 27 years old, it'll be intriguing to see if the Thai fighter can make some noise on the primary roster. He last fought on October 18, defeating Superball by second-round knockout.

Superbon looks to avenge defeat against Tawanchai

One day, Superbon will retire from competition and potentially become one of the best striking coaches on the planet. For now, the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion has business to take care of, as he plans to avenge a Muay Thai defeat against Tawanchai in December 2023.

On January 24, 2025, Superbon will headline ONE 170 against Tawanchai. The highly-anticipated rematch was booked due to Superbon defeating Jo Nattawut with a first-round knockout on September 27.

Heading into ONE 170, Tawanchai has been unbeatable in ONE Championship, winning seven consecutive fights (six in Muay Thai and one in kickboxing). The 4x ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion plans to extend his legacy by securing a second win against the legendary Superbon.

Superbon's resurgence since losing against Tawanchai has provided a reminder of how special of a fighter he is. The 34-year-old has an opportunity to avenge his defeat and strengthen his argument for being one of the best in promotional history.

ONE 170 will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The January 2025 event also features two-sport world champion Superlek defending his bantamweight Muay Thai throne against Nico Carrillo.
