Reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon's toughness has never been a question whenever he steps into the ring to fight.
This was tested when he challenged Jonathan Haggerty for the coveted 26-pound golden belt in August 2019 at the ONE: Dawn of Heroes card, which went down inside the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.
ONE Championship has reposted one of the best moments of Rodtang during the match on Instagram:
"Head kick? No problem 😉 How will Rodtang's chin hold up when he takes on Jacon Smith at ONE 169? @rodtang_jimungnon"

In the video, 'The Iron Man' is seen eating a massive roundhouse kick to the chin courtesy of 'The General', and he just takes it like breakfast in the morning. After that, he even punches himself to prove that no significant damage was inflicted on him.
Due to this durability shown by Rodtang, fans couldn't help themselves but praise him for it, especially users @gh0st_rid3rrr, @gothebronx, @coach_dusseault, @deadlydeshawn, and @mrshiota, who commented:
"He is too damn strong for his weight class😂"
"He'll go down as one of the greats of all time"
"Tough dude!!! 🔥🔥"
"Nah he is a SAVAGEEEEEE 😂🔥"
"The shot he hit himself with stung more😂"
Rodtang thinks Jacob Smith is a worthy opponent for a world title match with him
The Jitmuangnon Gym-affiliated athlete is now ready for his upcoming world title defense against number three-ranked divisional contender Jacob Smith on Nov. 8 during the co-main event of ONE 169 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Before he takes on the British star, Rodtang spoke to Sportskeeda MMA for an exclusive interview, and he believes that Smith deserves a second crack with him, especially for the coveted 26-pound golden belt:
"Smith today may not be Smith years ago. I believe everyone evolves into a different person always. He deserves another chance with me."
