Number three-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith already has an opponent in mind once he crowns himself as the new king of the weight class on Nov. 8 when he takes on Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the co-main event of ONE 169.
Smith will face Rodtang for the second time in front of the packed Lumpinee Stadium crowd in Bangkok, Thailand. The British challenger was interviewed by the Bangkok Post ahead of the match and has revealed his challenger if he gets the job done, as he shared:
"Look mate, when I win this belt, Denis can have a fair shot at the title. One hundred percent. But having said that though, he's got a tough task ahead of him in Elias."

According to Smith, Denis Puric is worthy of a world title shot against him since he handed him a unanimous decision loss during their first meeting in April 2024 at ONE Fight Night 21.
Jacob Smith braces for Rodtang's best form in their highly anticipated rematch at ONE 169
Smith is now ready for his shot at the coveted 26-pound golden belt, and he's confident that he can pull off a win because of the preparation from his training camp.
The Bad Company and Thaifist representative shared this during the same interview with the Bangkok Post, as he said:
"I'm preparing for the very best Rodtang. I'm not preparing for glimpses or times in the fight where he's taking his eyes off the ball or he's switching off a little bit. I'm prepared for the very best Rodtang, that's the Rodtang that I want."
ONE 169 goes down inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 8, and North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch it live and for free.
