Dante Leon voiced his appreciation for ONE Championship following his promotional debut.

Last Friday's ONE Fight Night 26 featured the debuts of two highly-touted lightweight grapplers, Dante Leon and Cole Abate. Both promotional newcomers secured a win inside the distance and earned a $50,000 performance bonus.

Leon's first impression featured a triangle armbar finish against Bruno Pucci. During his post-fight in-ring interview, the 29-year-old had this to say:

"I never had anything like that, man. That just hit me like a ton of bricks. What is there to say? Thank you, thank you to ONE. ONE has made me feel spoiled on this trip. Thailand is making me feel spoiled. Bangkok has been a home away from home for the whole week."

Dante Leon teases quick turnaround following ONE Fight Night 26

Bruno Pucci found minimal success against Dante Leon, as a failed takedown attempt quickly gave the latter control. Therefore, the lack of damage acquired combined with his $50,000 performance bonus has Leon ready to make his sophomore appearance in ONE Championship.

Following his impressive debut, Leon took to Instagram and had this to say:

"Like always, I will continue my work, striving to showcase my skills through exciting performances. The difference now is with this platform, I can easily reach and inspire people WORLD WIDE with my life’s work. Eyes peeled, I will be back very soon! 🇹🇭 👀"

Leon solidified himself as a legitimate threat to the ONE lightweight submission grappling world title. The question is, what's next for him?

The 29-year-old has several options for his next fight. Firstly, ONE Championship could be interested in seeing him against another unproven member of the division. Secondly, the promotional might want to match him up against Cole Abate, who also looked phenomenal in his debut.

Lastly, ONE might allow Leon to challenge Kade Ruotolo in 2025 for his lightweight throne.
