ONE on Prime Video 4 will see a clash between world champions as ONE welterweight king Kiamrian Abbasov defends his throne against 2-time lightweight world champion Christian Lee. '
'Brazen' will make the third defense of his belt after failing to capture a second one against two-division world champion Reinier de Ridder last February.
Against Lee, the Kyrgystani world champ will have to deal with one of the best finishers ONE Championship has ever produced. All but one of Lee's wins came by way of stoppage. 'The Warrior' has a frenetic pace that utilizes a perfect combination of speed, power and explosiveness.

Abbasov, however, is not all too concerned about his opponent's lethal weapons as he believes he has them in spades as well. In an interview with ONE Championship, 'Brazen' said:
"How will I deal with his speed and explosive technique? Well, I’ll tell him I’m not a slow guy, either. He [Lee] will have to reach me first. So I work at all aspects, whether it’s speed, power, or quickness. So I don’t consider it an issue that he’s fast or something."
If what Kiamrian Abbasov is saying is correct, then we're in for a treat. Having two agile, explosive, and fast fighters collide inside the Circle is a recipe for an unforgettable battle.
Kiamrian Abbasov says Christian Lee might lose his explosiveness once he moves up to welterweight
Although he intends to deal with Christian Lee's explosiveness handily, Kiamrian Abbasov believes it might not even be a factor in the fight at all. 'Brazen' claims that 'The Warrior' might lose his trademark explosiveness once he gains weight and moves up to welterweight.
Kiamrian Abbasov said:
“He might face issues after he gains weight and will no longer be an explosive fighter. I think he has a lot of work to do in terms of physique and to try and overcome me physically. This is a different weight category with very different rules.”
There is truth to what the ONE welterweight king said. Conventional wisdom suggests that the higher the mass of a moving object, the slower its acceleration. Lee is fast and explosive at 170 pounds. Adding 15 more pounds of bulk to his frame might pose some problems in the speed department for 'The Warrior'. Whether or not this is true is still yet to be determined, however. We just have to tune in to find out.
All Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch the event live and for free on the streaming platform on US primetime on November 18.
